Low Cost Help with Elder Law Issues, Disability Rights and Estate Planning

The ELDR Center is leading the charge to end homelessness in Orange County.  In our first four years, we successfully litigated multiple cases in Federal Court that have started to change the landscape in Orange County for the unsheltered community. We work collaboratively with the County and local cities towards permanent solutions including housing, transitional options, and emergency shelters.

We also offer free assistance with tickets and charges for unavoidable behaviors like eating and sleeping outdoors when no alternative is available.

HOW WE WORK

GETTING ASSISTANCE

Our intake process is a several step process that will take a few days to complete.  When you call our office, we will take some basic information about you and your legal issue.  After an attorney has an opportunity to review the preliminary information, we will contact you about whether or not we MAY be able to assist you.  If we cannot assist, we will guide you to resources that may be able to help.  If your issue is something that we MAY be able to help with, we will get additional information from you in order to make a final determination.

Please note that we are a small firm and cannot take all of the matters that we get calls about.

Please feel free to contact the Orange County Bar Association Lawyer Information & Referral Services Modest Means Program at (949) 440-6747 or Community Legal Aid SoCal Referral Services at (714) 571-5204 for referrals.

OUR LEGAL FEES

Although we are a non-profit organization, we do charge fees for most of our estate planning, disability rights and elder law legal services.

In order to increase access to the legal system, our fees are determined on a sliding scale basis. Your rate would be determined based on your household income.  Please see the chart above.

If you are unable to afford our fees, please contact one of the following pro bono non-profit

Orange County legal service providers:

Community Legal Aid SoCal at (714) 571-5200

Public Law Center at (714) 541-1010

Veterans Legal Institute at (714) 852-3492

Seaside Legal Services at (949) 494-9411
